ALAN RONALD

Alan studied film & television production at college and university in Glasgow before making the move to London and beginning his career as Director Of Photography on several indie horror features.

 

He then set up his own production company and made the leap to writing and directing his own feature films, beginning with the critically acclaimed Jesus Versus The Messiah and following up with the Stitchgirl and Harriet's War segments of the Death Tales Anthology series, which have since been released on DVD & Blu-ray in the UK, US and across Europe to much cult success.

 

He also directed comedy drama Chinese Burns for Hill-Roberts films which has gained numerous awards and accolades at film festivals around the world. He was also the original writer of cockney-knockabout Jack Says starring Mike Reid and Rula Lenska.

 

As a comedian and actor Alan has written, directed and performed in numerous features, shorts, podcasts and two television pilots both solo and as part of surreal double-act The Electric Head.  He performs regularly at stand-up comedy nights in and around London and recently began organising and hosting  Salmon On The Mount, a regular alternative comedy night in Watford.

 

He also enjoys video games, giant monsters and professional wrestling.
